OMARC was founded in 1977, Becoming a non-profit corporaiton in 1981 and has been a responsive and responsible organization with dedicated members which share a common interest in Amateur Radio and the community in which we live.

We conduct a well developed and effective program of public service oriented programs providing communications for various events, we provide Merit Badge Counseling, Technical Assistance, FCC license testing sessions and ongoing assistance targeted to prospective and newly licensed hams in our community.

Do you need communications for your special event? Contact us for volunteer radio operators.

We offer VE Exams to get your Ham License.

Regular sessions of Amateur Radio Licensing Exams are after our regular meetings, the 2nd Saturday of each month, 11 am or as otherwise instructed by our VE Coordinator.

Please be sure to bring photo ID and the test fee of $15. Walk-ins will be accepted but it would be a good idea to call us before you come in case of inclement weather. Click on the "License Examinations" tab on the left for contact information. Use the map below to locate our building.

The Ocean-Monmouth Amateur Radio Club has maintained and occupied building 9116 on the Diana Site since 2002. OMARC was provided with space in building 9116 by the U.S. Army prior to the closure of Camp Evans by the Base Re-alignment and Closure (BRAC) process. InfoAge has graciously continued this arrangement.
